GLO30 District Wharf Washington DC

This was my first ever facial ever in my life and I could not imagine anything more perfect than Glo30!!! The DC wharf location was nothing but perfection!! The staff was super insightful and knew more about my skin than I did. I would recommend Glo30 to any and everyone. The only bad thing I have to say about Glo30 is that they have yet to open a location in St. Louis Missouri which is my home town!! I would love to have a membership to Glo30 so I can get my monthly facials!

Not a great experience at this Glo30 location. I went to the Shaw DC 2 years ago, left a wonderful review, and booked a facial for me and my friend was expecting a similar experience this time. I booked a session for myself and a friend at the the price point for each facial I was expecting more. Pro: - When I called Glo30 to make the appointment the person on the phone was very patient and helpful - Facility was clean - Environment quiet - Front desk person was efficent - I didn't wait long before I was called - Was asked if I needed a blanket before started and was given one - My skin was visibly smoother after the facial Cons: - The person who did my facial did not discuss the condition of my skin or my sink care routine - I wasn't asked how familiar I was with Glo30 skin facial process/routine - I wasn't given an option in terms of the type of treatment I could receive until I asked if there were alternatives. I was just informed of the mask of the month. - I wish the person who did my facial would have gone into details about each product used and their purpose - No discussion regarding Glo30 products were had - No products were recommended for the upkeep of my skincare routine - My friend informed me their was product left on her face, along her hairline - I was unable to get a copy of a receipt for my friends facial, which I paid for because Glo30 doesn't do paper receipts and the receipt that was generated was digitally sent to my friend instead of me since they had to create an account for her to have the facial

I got two facials at this location in DC but then needed to move from DC back to the Midwest for severe mental health issues and they won’t let me cancel!! I’ve tried calling, there’s nowhere on the website to cancel. They give great facials but you will be forever stuck paying them. DO NOT GO!! Unless you want to pay forever

Just had my first GLO30 facial with Keiona and it was wonderful all around. From the moment I checked in the service was great, starting with being greeted by name. This was my first treatment in years, and I cannot get over how relaxing the whole process was. Each product was refreshing and I even found a new sunscreen to take with me back to AZ. Keiona explained each step of the process along the way, and gave me a few recommendations that were personalized for my skin and routine. Thank you so much, cannot wait for my next appointment!

This is my third experience at GLO30 and I do like it. To start when I first walked in the usual receptionist was not there, and she threw my vibe off. The last couple times she was very welcoming and this person was just “aite”. Then, the Esthetician I booked (same from last month) with was not there and I had someone different. I wasn’t as satisfied as I had been when I left. The Esthetician I had was heavy handed and made me feel rushed. She did an alright job tho—I guess but for me it’s about the overall experience. My previous Esthetician talked me thru the products used and this one didn’t. I will continue with my appointments with the expectations of better and charge that day to “scheduling conflicts” or whatever.
